| [Adult Swim] is the best thing to happen to televsion since the remote. Well i think so anyways. Anybody else think the same? |

It's a time late at night on a station in the United States called Cartoon Network

The block, programmed by Williams Street Studios, the same group that created Toonami and Miguzi, plays American animated series and shorts geared towards adults, and a wide variety of Japanese anime series and OVAs. Promotions for Adult Swim have been targeted towards the college age group (18-24), which constitutes the majority of their viewers. According to a September 1, 2004 article in Promo magazine, this form of advertising is used for many of their shows. Representatives are sent to 30 universities across the U.S. to promote the Adult Swim lineup, including handing out posters for students' dorm rooms.
The block is named after the hours designated at public swimming pools for adults-only swimming.
Originally, all of the bumps shown in between shows featured footage of senior citizens swimming in public pools with a lifeguard shouting through a megaphone. The current bumps feature black "cards" with white text on them, which discuss everything from news about the programming, to personal staff opinions on unrelated subjects. On Thursdays, Adult Swim airs cards which they pull from the Adult Swim message board and respond with their characteristic banter. |
I watch Adult Swim, my favorite shows on it are Futurama, Family Guy and Trigun there like the only channel to still show futurama (it sucks that they stopped making new episodes of it) I like it too, it owns

I hear somewhere....i think on [adult swim] that the creator and all the other peeps are in the process of making a new season. Not sure if this is true...but it would be sweet....cuz thats shows awesome. And all the other shows...i dont watch the anime much....i did watch Trigun but that got kinda old cuz ive seen every episode. And hey look im watching adult swim right now, hell yeah the Oblongs.

New Futurama? That would be hellz tight !
Nothing against your taste bro... but I'm not really into Oblongs -- I love Will Ferrell and all but that show wierds me out man -- I've seen a few episodes, maybe it's just me (probably is considering they still show it) but I don't know
Will Ferrell kicks ass though (he's the voice of the father) I went to the same High School as him for 1 year

| I LOVE Family Guy haha, I dont like all that other stuff but shows like south park and Family Guy and Aqua team hunger force are the coolest shows ever.. but im a HUGE fan of movies.. | yeah, The Simpsons used to be one of my favorite shows but idk, lately they havent been as good n stuff. shows like family guy and south park are way more funnier. the Simpsons just keep the same stuff.. they never change. |

I think he means out of those shows, The Simpsons is his favorite, but he isn't a big fan of any of them.
I am the complete opposite, I like Family Guy, Futurama, and South Park and I am no longer a huge fan of The Simpsons, it's still not a bad show though.

That is very true andreas and people must stand up for what they like....not really but lots of people like different things and at points this can be good but not all the time. But i would have to say every show on adult swim suits my likes and not everyone has to think that.
