I'll try to post when the site has had small updates, so here's the first post.
Fallowing things were changed:
- Navigation on the sides, looks cleaner
- Site should load faster DETAILS: Some things were optimized to speed up load time. An example is the front of the site use to load at 3.78 seconds on DSL 128K now it loads in 3.14 seconds. The front of the sites size was reduced from 58641 bytes to 48185 bytes, this is a good, you won't notice it much unless your on 56K (if you were on 56K, before the page use to load in 11.89 seconds now it loads in 9.80 seconds, that's almost 2 whole seconds for people on 56K)
Sorry if during this time some things were going weird (e.g. the navigation on the left or right went missing, ect.,), unlike other sites who want to look "professional" and shut down there site, I thought it would be nicer if I just let you guys have the ability to play even if some non-essential things were missing while they were being replaced with the updated files. If you saw one of these rare moments the page was being updated you can consider yourself lucky to see them, there was only about 30-40 seconds of errors all together.
Anyways, it is very possible there are some errors that may occur after this update (example: if I forgot to update the navigation on some pages just post here, if there's any errors, they will probably be in the navigation area).
So again, sorry if anyone experience some weird stuff going on, but hopefully now your experience will be better, also, any comments on the new navigation are welcome, some of you might not even notice it, but I consulted some friends and all of them agreed it was nicer.
Next time I plan to consult with you guys on things so I can get your opinion before there are changes, it passed my mind this time and I apologize. Also I made a Quality Assurance Team, I might start accepting people into the group for the next update, these people will need to look out for errors on the site and report them and also will be making major decisions for changes on the site for updates, I will talk more about this before the next update.
So there you go, any questions, comments, errors to report on THIS update go here, thanks |
