Here is some important information that you should read before saving your games.
If you are not logged into the forum when you save, then your games will be saved for everyone to play and can be replaced by anyone too, you can lose these games and never get them back.
BUT! There is one way around this, you need to log in, once your logged in, go back to the game you were playing and *REFRESH*, you should see this message on the bottom of the page:

You are logged in. Your games will be saved securely on the atArcade server. |
Make sure your logged in BEFORE you start playing, if you arn't logged in and you start playing and then you log in and refresh you will lose your game.
If you do see this message, then that means that you are logged in successfully and that if you save, your game will be saved for you to play and replace.
==== Only important if your name contains spaces ======
Another thing, a few people on the forum have names with spaces in them, names with spaces are now illegal to create, but no worries, if you have one right now, you can request that I change your name or you can simply create another account to play with and use the one with the spaces for posting on the board. No one will be forced to change there names but if you request it then it will be changed for you. Keep in mind though, no one will ever be able to have a name with spaces in it ever again, so if you keep it, your one of the few people that will have a name with spaces, just a thought before you make your decision.

Well, if i have to refresh to save, that means I will lose what I already have in the game, as I am at the first level of world 3 in SMB3. I don't want to lose that, but I also want to save! What do you recomend?

Your lucky it's Super Mario, just cheat to get back to where you were before... Make sure your logged in when you start playing though.

| So.. If your not logged in then whatever game your playing wont be saved? but if your logged in and you save it when you log in again u will be able to continue from where u were before? |

You can't save a game in your account if your not logged in, you can't transfer a game from non-logged in to logged in, the only way to be sure that you saving your game in your account is if you see this message on the bottom of the page:

if you don't see that and your playing, there's no way to securley save that game, you can save it in the public server but anyone can access it, but aslong as you see this message:

then you safe, you can save and you game will be securley saved and no one will be able to touch it (that means replace/play) unless of course you share your account with someone which is not recommended.
So in answer to

Yes, it will be saved (if you save it) but in public area of server, anyone can play/replace public games.

Yes, you can play you saved game from where you left off every time you log in, it stores on your personal part of the server.

| K, so do i save a certain way. like for example on Pokemon Gold, if i push the start button then click save it will save? cause i did that and it didnt save. and i refreshed the page n stuff.. im just confused on saving in general. so if you would please explain. |

Dosen't show up when I'm playing Pokemon Gold and I'm loged in
And when I log in and play and save it when I log in again the saved game isn't there  So were is it  |

Gameboy games don't save at all, only NES games save.
